Advice would be cool
My first stick shift mazda rx8 (yaaaaaa). I have been having trouble stalling, in the middle of traffic I might add. Something happens due to me stalling so much & my car will not long start up. I read somewhere I might have killed the battery from stalling so much. Plan on replacing spark plugs.
I only have around 100$ for the week to put into it. The car is sitting at 86k coolant light is on as well as a monitor system light. I am pressing the clutch all the way down while I start so it isn't that. Jumped the car twice & it started again tried to jump it a third time & it did not start. Will be buying a duralast or any recommended battery.
Could I have ruined a part already? This is my 1st day driving the car. Does anyone know what kinda tool set I should have on hand?

It's probably flooded.
Search for the deflooding procedure and don't try to start it again without a healthy battery.

I must ask do you think I "flooded" it? When I start the car it seems like the on screen audio turns on and all that jazz but I can get it to start for the life of me. I don't mind going out to replace the alternator. What do you guys over here recommend?
I bought the car no idea what's going on (how to drive) figured some TLC is all it needs. There is a hoes connected to the coolant overflow(?) I was told by a friend to extend tube downwards avoiding any type of splashig. Don't know why I keep using so much coolant. Apparently every time I pop the hood after driving for a few the coolant is like gone.
You guys think I could have possible damaged the starter? How should I go about replacing the connectors? As soon as autozone opens its doors I will be heading there to invest in some spark plugs and if would be cool if anyone could possibly point me in the right direction.

Um,
Sounds like several things going on. Starting is an issue, and coolant going someplace is one as well. Fixing those may make it easier to drive.
Step one, follow the deflood thread above. Flood is usually a sign of weak ignition or low compression. Losing coolant is a sign of a water leak. If it is not going on to the floor, the leak may be internal, and would explain the low compression. Did you notice any steam coming from the exhaust when it was running? Do you have any type of warranty on the car? Can you get one? Opening the engine is a lot of work, and expensive.
When you get to driving, the best way to start is to let out the clutch until you feel it start to catch, then stop letting it out. Let it engage on its own, when rolling, let it the rest of the way out. Practice in a parking lot. The key is understanding the release point.

Not really sure if this is the plan to go but I'm going to seafoam my engine. With all the talk of carbon build up maybe it will do good. Autozone has me waiting on the battery & it cost a dreaded 20 per spark plug.
It seems their is some kind of fluid leak in the radiator? It is not very much. Possible that the cooltant container has some sorta crack or I spilt it a little. Really hope it isn't a decompression thing. Plan on using a lot of zip ties. When the car starts back up will give the 411 going to scroll through the threads about maintenance.

There is a known issue with the coolant overflow bottle cracking, that could easily be the reason for the fluid loss. You should be able to see the crack if you examine the bottle.
Unlikely that the battery has anything to do with this, but by all means have it tested.
While you're there make sure you have the right size deep socket wrench for these spark plugs.

Just wrecked it. It being the car. I don't know if the frame is ruined but now the car is overheating really bad. Coolant is not staying in the reservoir, but their is still no leaks.

Just had the accident. Hoora to living paycheck to paycheck. Waiting on word from insurance. The vacuum thing is messed up now. One of my struts is ruined. Drove it to a families house but after I turned the car off couldn't get it to start up front collision I turned into a Buick & hit her right door.

Life After 8K RPM....
WOw I don't know If I should congratulate you for getting an Rx8 or be sympathetic for wrecking it.
Either way it seems like things kind of worked out in your favour.
From what it sounds like, you bought someone else's mess. If you can have it totalled by insurance and get you money back then that's your best bet.
In all honesty, you made the worst mistake buying a beast without knowing anything about it.
Now while you are awaiting a call from insurance, use this time and read up the new / potential owner thread and determine if Rx8 is your cup of tea.
This is not no civic or a stang, **** here gets real expensive and real fast.
All the best, and I really hope everything works out in your favor. Cut your losses short and maybe get something else for the time being, while you learn more about rotaries and rx8's in general.

Just a update of my situation. The accident happened under a dealers license plate. The used car dealer ship's tags insurance had expired. Now I am in a load of problems. I called the supposedly coverage. Which had notified me that the agreement under the policy # had expired since 2012.
I went through many departments which include highway safety agriculture & finance. All have just been referring me to one another. After being told the car had NO INSURANCE but the dealership still gave me the tag. Which I explained to all three. The department of agriculture which regulate private sales, has recommended I file a complaint to the dealership. Under false pretense that I was legally safe to drive the car.
I now am really confused. Waiting on a lawyer who has the time to look at my issue.
