2006 RX8 Shinka - need advise
hey guys,
tomorrow morning checking out '06 rx8 shinka. seems to be in great shape and all but what do i need to look out for when i test drive it. i really want to take the car home but a bit worried of what i need to look out for?
and once i get it (incase u dont get back to me soon enough lol) what are the first recommended steps to take to make sure i take care of the car the right way?

Have the car looked over by a Mazda dealer. Have them do a compression test, which takes special equipment for a rotary.
If the seller is asking for a premium price because it's a Shinka, make sure it really is one. There are threads here that say what distinguishes the Shinka from others. A lot of RX-8s are billed as Shinka when they're not.

Congrats, I just got my 06 Shinka 2 weeks ago. If its the copper red, it looks beautiful and the color seems to change depending on the lighting especially at night. I've loved mine so far but I would definitely recommend reading that guide and getting it checked out by Mazda. I didn't get it checked and I'm afraid I may be running into an issue.
Good Luck!
