So you want your engine sucking in hot air? Even with the heat sheild they are aweful. Go cold air or stay stock. If you want I will trade you my (I asume) ebay short ram for your stock airbox.

ok i will but you dont understand i will be installing a carbon fiber air duct in my front bumper so it will act as a ram air and cool air will flow directily to the filter

i dont think so but u can ask him. One of the So-Cal people tried lowballing it off of him for $200 but im sure DEEDUB wanted $250, so i doubt it went through (this was last week)

I have a HKS kit that I've NEVER used.
2 reasons I never used it :
1. I am too lazy to take my Air box and VFAD out. lol !
2. The MAF screw got stuck and broke off on the HKS pipe. You can use Tape to tie the MAF on the pipe its same thing.
so if u want it, I can post some pictures up later, I sell it to you for 400 bux shipped, cuz its pretty much brand new. I got it 550 brand new. if no one buys it, I will keep it until one day I feel like to take my bumper, VFAD, and airbox out ...

When your moving, it will be fairly cool even without the air duct. But at idle and low speeds, you're going to get heat soak, and your intake temps are going to climb.
