By "power plant frame" do you mean the foam stiffened frame specific to the R3s that the suspension attaches to?

 

How many miles?

 

thats typically called the front subframe. not the same part. the power plant frame (PPF) is the component that connects the tail shaft of the transmission to the differential.

Unsure how many miles are on the R3 trans and diff but they were in my series 1 for roughly 8-10k miles. The rest of the stuff has about 80k on it.
