These are self supporting, run-flat Max Performance Summer tires with Extended Mobility Technology (EMT) which allow you to continue driving even after a complete loss of air pressure. These tires were deleloped as Original Equipment for sports cars such as Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V.
