I had this in my car for about 15k miles. Worked fine until I turned up the boost and swapped to aftermarket coils with their own igniter module. At which point, everything still ran but it would misfire (mostly due to bad plugs) at peak torque. So the unit does not play well with a mazsport ignition setup.

Rx7store is selling it for $500. I'll do half that - $250. You can pick it up at a Tuesday meet and we can probably install it right there in a half hour. I probably still have the box for it if you want it.

I'll see how this goes for a week or two before I look into shipping it.

 

Whats the model # on it? I would be using it for a 13b-rew not a 13b-msp so I just want to make sure its compatible. Let me know because if it is, I will take it! Thanks

Hmmm - the rx7 twin power is the 43001-AK003. The Rx-8 one is the 43001-AZ001. The Rx-8 includes the harness. The Rx-7 harness is like $40. I can't say for certain that the boxes are the same. I'll pull it out of my trunk and look at the box part number.

DLI-II Rotary TW51106

It looks like the Rx7 uses teh DLI-I and the Rx8 uses the DLI-II. The difference? Don't know.

 

Is this one def for a rx8? I still cant find this model online

 

The DLI-2 is for the rx8 only unfortunate for me.... However this is a great price so bump for the seller
