Hi guys and girls, looking to buy an rx-8 in the next few weeks. I'm putting my civic up for sale and as soon as thats sold i'll be ready to buy.I would like to spend around $13000. I'm looking for an 04-07 mt. I would like her to be a virgin(no mods). Color isn't a big deal although winning blue is awesome. Lower miles if possible, maintenance records would be a plus. And if anyone wants to trade for an 06 civic that could work too. Thanks in advance. Oh, i'm in Dayton Ohio.

 

Tell me about this civic.

I have an 04 Winning Blue with 138,000 miles.

Engine replaced at 128,000 miles so only 10,000 miles on new engine
Clutch, master cyclinder replaced in last 5000 miles
Oil metering pump just replaced in january
New lightweight flywheel put in when engine replaced.
Body looks new. I was rear ended years ago, only cosmetic. I had a frontal accident, major repair but also cosmetic, no frame damage so the front and rear ends looks new. When I tell people it's an 04 with over 100,000 miles they get surprised.
I have all paperwork from all maintenance, engine replacement etc.
I've got a kid and a mortgage. I just can't keep up with the maintenance on this car. I'm at the point where it's not fun anymore. I don't want to sell but I need something with better mileage and more reliable.

 

Thanks for the reply! I know exactly what you mean about kids and a mortgage. As far as the car goes i was looking for something with less miles. I appreciate the offer though and good luck on selling it. And for anyone else looking I know I said a 13,000 budget but I will pay more for quality!
