I am totally overwhelmed right now after seeing a winning blue RX8 in person at Brown's Mazda in Fairfax. This thing is wicked fellas. It was a sports package MT with cloth seats. I didn't get to sit in it because it was a pre-order and the owner was inside doing the paper work ... but even looking from outside the interior looks top quality, well built and expensive looking. The manual shifter looked so small and i could only imagine flicking it 1 through 6 :-) The center console looked beautiful. Cloth seats also looked really nice and at first i thought it was leather - yes, it looked so good. My very first impression of the car was, wow, the booty of this car is not high at all as people have been saying before - over all the car looks pretty low to the ground. It looks small and TEN TIMES MORE BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON, pictures dont do it justice.

The sales consultant was very friendly. I had been in that dealership about two months back but this guy, Jonathan, was very helpful. He said all RX8s will be sold at MSRP... no dealer mark-ups. The manager has ordered not to have any markup on these cars. They dont let ANYONE sit in the pre-order cars... they dont take it to the gas station to fill up the tank. They'd give the owner a slip for the complimentary tank so that he can take it himself. The way they care about the car + the MSRP promise is pretty impressive.

I was also told there are four other RX8s sitting inside the shop for PDI and getting ready for delivery - a Silver, Grey, Black, dont remember fourth one. I didn't get a chance to see them but all are cloth seats. So far they have delivered only one pre-order car to the customer which you guys already know is the Nordic Green one that our forum member 'dagster' picked up on Saturday.
