Thinking about buying lowering springs for 05. I never put on springs before and rather not tackle the task myself. Anyone know of any good shops around Columbus or Pittsburgh that doesn't charge a lot?

 

im pretty sure you can do it yourself is not hard at all, all you need is the proper tools instead of paying a mechanich buy the tools to tackle the job. just my 2 cents

I changed the springs on my 8 and it was literally the first major thing to a car I had ever done...I mean that. Friend and I did it all in one day. It may have taken us 8 hours though.

It really isn't that bad, you can do it with basic tools.

you are probably looking at 300 bucks or more for someone else to do it.

 

I have the first time worries since I have never done this before. Is there any good advice you guys can give me before undertaking, Id appreciate it.
