Where all my NY Rotary owners at?
Well i thought i saw NY thread a while back, but i been seeing ppl calling out the rotary ppl in there state. So as all ya know or have heard we got a rotary club in NY called New York Rotary Association. We are mostly RX-7 owners, few RX-2, RX-3, and rotary conversions (13B BMW, 12a MG TR6, 13B 81 Toyota Corolla, 13B Toyota Starlet and soon to come 13B VW Jetta , etc).
THis year we had a number of meets from Valley Stream , Long Island, Flushing Queens , NYC and Bear Mountain in upstate NY.
Were spreading and growing very quickly. We currently have about 55 members in one year. And about 40 are die hard members!
2007 we will be having more meets. Some proposed locations are further into Long Island such as Suffolk County and further upstate , lake george / albany area.
We hold about 7-9 meets a year, with smaller night time meets usually concentrated between Westchester, NYC and Nassau County.
We want to grow and hold more meets. I know some of you guys are putting up nightime meets but lets definately do this.
NYRA is also planninga a Rotary Only Car show. But we def need more participation to set it all up.
SO my NY ppls lets start a lil roll call. I see many NY ppl on this forum but are not as active, and i would like to change that. I know many of you i have met and have attended meets and we appreciate the rotary love. SO lets help it grow, we gotta compete with the WEST SIDE. So lets grow

hey im ready to do it..pickin up my 8 in jan.. lookin forward 2 spring time aroudn march to really get thigns going and get out in the rx8 community with local meets around nassau at DPA and everything.. im down

When we went to ROTORFEST i was in the front with 7 FD's and i was clocking 141mph. I know you did like 145mph but you wasnt up front with me and the fdizzzles =)

Next year will be "The year of the 7" Sorry RX-8 guys you will have to wait till 2008 to have "The year of the 8". Then from there we all gotta wait almost a decade lol
