Okay boys and girls, we’ve decided to move to a new location for our Friday night weekly meet. It’s still at Starbucks but it’s more middle of the way for the southsiders and the westenders. Also the new location is supposedly pretty dead around that time on Fridays. Below is the address, it’s the Starbucks on Huguenot Rd right by the Huguenot bridge.

My new position at work will have me traveling to Richmond on a more frequent basis starting next month. I'm not sure about Friday nights, but maybe. I'll be in the Short Pump area most likely. As the schedule gets made I'll see if one of you guys/gals has an open night for a beer/coffee.

 

Im going to try to make it to one of those if you're still doing them really soon.

 

The meet is a weekly thing so yes we are always meeting.

 

I was wondering about those meets because I haven't seen the pictures lately.

My travels with work will bring me in Richmond a lot during the week. How bout a Wednesday night meet!

 

You can always start a Wed. night meet. This Friday night meet has been going on for years.

 

I'm not so sure a Wednesday night meet would go over so well! It would be cool to bump into some 8 owners while in Richmond though. There is a Starbucks at the corner of *** and Broad (Short Pump side of the city). One of these nights I wouldn't mind trying to coordinate something. We'll see if anyone lives on that side of the city.

Hehe I don't drive a rx-8. I have a 06 mazda miata. We used to have some folks that come to the meet with rx-8s but they either sold it, or crashed it. I've never owned one but did use to have a rx7.

 

I wonder why the 8's are so slim in showing for Richmond? Must be an older buyer ... like me! Everytime I'm in Richmond I see 8's, so there must be plenty around. Do any of the Mazda dealers in the area participate in sponsering car rally's?

 

Haha, there is always something, I forgot to reset my aperture from a larger opening until when I'm almost done taking photos. Oh well, there is always next week.
