This Saturday is a car show and BBQ at Wayne Mazda on Route 23 in New Jersey. They are one of the largest RX-8 dealerships in the country and they have an entire floor dedicated to just RX-8s. They were also one of the first dealerships to have the new turbo Miata. Their service department is top notch and a lot of members on the forum, including myself can vouch for them. This Car Show and BBQ is a lot fo fun but only Kel and I showed up from the RX-8 group. It would be cool to have a RX-8 section this time around with more owners now in the northeast. Last year there was 4 or 5 RX-7s along with mazda 6s, 3s, and protege turbos. I can post pics from last year if people would like to see them. All in all, its a fun time to relax and enjoy mazdas' for the day. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. For now, I would like to get a roll-call to get an idea of how many would like to come. I will post tomorrow the times because I don't have them of the top of my head. So here we go....

Is there a rain date as well? Searching the weather.com site, seems there might be a wet Saturday.... Also, how do we know if the meet gets cancelled?

some more info that I found elsewhere that is important:

mostly rx 7's and rx 8's with few mazda 6's but he said other cars are welcome as well (meaning cars that are not mazda).

Update:
1. There is NO RAIN DATE. Its either on or not.

3. Steve is out right now but will be calling me back regarding some type of reserved parking up close to help represent the RX-8s better.

RotaryZZ, it would be great if you can make it. you don't have to stay the whole time. There are give-aways during the event (from what I remember last year) and FOOD. everybody loves food lol

 

The meet is also posted on the club site since the KOP meet was canceled. I'll try to make it...
