Wash DC Mazda Autocross (MAX) Sunday Oct 2
Wash DC Mazda Autocross (MAX) Sunday Oct 2
You are cordially welcome to join us at our Mazda Autocross (MAX) event on Sunday, October 2. We average about 8 runs, the emphasis is on safety and loads of seat time behind the wheel. While competitive, the event is geared towards improving our autocross skill set by loads of practice time. An excellent prelude for Mazda's Zoom Zoom Live coming up. Yes, you can bring friends that don't drive Mazda's, although the majority of the participants are in Mazdas.
Sign up details, photos, videos, etc. posted at www.MSCW.com.

MSCW members $26, non members $30. We have provided a minimum of six timed runs and several fun runs in the past. We will most likely get in more this time, incorporating lessons learned. Helmet rentals available as well and a few instructors will be assisting as needed.
Click on the application for all fees.
Weather forecast looks great, plus we all know RX-8s ate everyone up at the SCCA Solo 2 nationals. What was it, 8 out of the top 10 in their class.

Trying to convince the wife she would feel so much happier after a morning of beating on my car. :D Hopefully I'll at least get her to okay me going.
P.S. Any idea when the photos from Max 23 will be posted?

hey merc,
would like to go, but the car's not ready. the EMS won't ship until Monday and there's still issues to work out. good enuff (kinda) for the street, but needs more tuning for the track. wish i could go..... it'd definitely be a blast.

BTW, Sunday was a BLAST! :D Mucho thanks to the organizers!
Your welcome, glad you could run with us and got a bunch of seat time in. We will be back next year with several venues. Mike's photos were handed to me by another officer at the meeting and are now posted. MAX-24 photos are linked as well along with results.
