I'm doing my field internship in New Bedford till 6 then I have to work tonight from 11pm-7am then back down in NB at 8am tomorrow till 6pm and 16hr shifts until thursday before I get a day off.
Plus my car is still in the shop until sometime between tuesday-thursday before I get it back.
But otherwise I would be down. My schedule should be slowing down very soon though if anyone wants to do a wrench day I am always down to help.

 

Well if you wanna come to Waltham EMS you're welcome to help us wrench for a bit. I'm going to put in a new header to midpipe gasket, and then try and fix that damn catback heatshield rattle. Feel free to PM me. RD, Alston? so you're near Super 88. We could meet up there at some point if you PM me your info. I could text you or something when we're heading up that way.

Soooooo, how did it sound after? Did you figure it our? And did it get louder after it warmed up? How was dinner?

 

Sounds like there is a slight leak in the back now..not in the front. You still hear that Sssssss on acceleration. Did you tighten it as much as possible in the rear? I had it perfect till you guys touched it :P

Wish I could have went, but I can't turn down free Bruins tickets. I just got my car back with a new engine and cat. It runs 1000x better then it has since I've owned it. I'm down for whatever day you guys pick. I've been pointlessly driving around to break-in my engine. 450+ miles in less than a week. 600 more and an oil change later, I can start to raise the rpm higher then 4k. CANT WAIT!!!!!

Does anyone here own a Blue RX8 with Black Rims? I saw one at Quirk Mazda in Quincy and it seemed like they needed some help Dealer was all over them about aftermarket parts. According to the dealer, the owner bought it that way and doesn't know too much about the car.

JMC, anytime you're down to hang let me know. You should hit up autocross this Saturday. I was going to go but I've had a death in the family..some other members go sometimes though. This will be the first event I've ever missed. Go figure..

 

I went to Quincy Quirk because it was down the street from my work. I dropped it off there then I moved office locations lol. Lets just say, Mazda isnt too fond of me Ryan knows his stuff though. Hopefully I wont need to go back to a dealer for a long time Zelse, I'm down whenever. Especially now that I'm using any excuse to drive so I can breakin my engine faster 600 miles to go then the progresive raising of the RPM's begin.

I've followed some RX8's trying to get their attention. I've found that if you are a member of RX8Club, then you will go out of your way to say Hi to another person with an RX8. If someone is not a member, you get the cold "WTF!!! Who the hell are you?" stare.

 

Yeah totally. Thats why I just don't really say hi to anyone with RX8's anymore..even if it's stock or done up, good for them. lol. Unless they say hi first, I'm not saying anything.

uhmmm yeah, it was tightened as much as possible. if your still down for swinging down here on sunday for the Borla trial, we will have to take it apart anyway and double check everything when it goes back in.

i dropped by the bodyshop today and they are just waiting on the wheels and the undertray and splashguards to come in. they were rolling it into the paint booth as i left and as long as things come in on time i will have it back by the weekend.

I'm holding off on doing anything to the roof until i find out what may or maynot happen with you.

oh and i'm sorry about the loss, we went over this the other night, i know how you feel.

 

i always wave when i see another rx8 and ive even gotten waves from miatta drivers as well

 

miata drivers usually give the wave back. i have had a few ask what kind of car i was driving.

there are 3 or 4 really sweet miatas around here.
