no not at all, i actually have nothing done to mine, and neither do 90 percent of the ppl at the meet. most of the mods are performance oriented.

i used to be into car audio a little, but im just not interested anymore.

you missed some guy wrecking his s2k at autox yesterday

the s2k was turboed so it had alot of power for such a light car

he was shakey out of a turn then into a lane change, started to lose it then tried to save it but just gave it WAY too much gas in an attempt of throttle modulation and spun 270 degrees into a concrete pole

thats an expensive day

scary too because i was on the line about to start as it happened. that run was a little slow when it got underway...lol

 

damn.. that sucks. However, he didn't follow the #1 rule: When you go into a spin, stop, don't give it gas!

im actually running with NNJR PCA at englishtown. they have an event on the 2nd

I'm 90% sure I'm coming to this, but it depends on if my girl can pick me up from dropping my car off @ the dealer. Most likely it will be in the 8 though. If I do come, Leary, could we take a spin in each car so I can see what the power difference is? I can't remember what an 8 with full power feels like...

good turn out last night Had 4!!! rx8's from the club out at hazlet. Ran into Rob with the WWP, Tim came with his WB and i met Ted with his rmagic turbo 8

the meet itsself was HUGE last night, great turnout by the nj tuner crew which i love. i know tim snapped some pics, i got a couple ill put em up later

Just bought coils from rosenthal.
I'm gonna buy an extra coil mounting bracket and do some "tinkering" with it...

I'll know soon whether it's the coils. I didn't feel like making up work time at the end of the week to make up for the time taking it to the dealer, so I just bit the bullet and am going to do the work myself. If coils don't fix it, I'll do plugs and wires, and if those don't, I'll take it in to wayne.

 

it was a pretty good meet not as much 8s as i hoped. im gonna bring a whole bunch next time lol n show those srt4s up lol there were way to many

 

And the verdict is.. The coils were bad. My car feels like a rocket right now.

So much fun that I'm gonna go drive it. Right now. :-D
