haha. baloney or toothpaste works wonders on paint. Or Vaseline on the windshield.

That's why you get a smashed door and put it on, no one will bother it if it's beat. I would do egg shells in the tank since it can take a while before you figure it out, drive the car and it stalls, get it towed, then it starts back up at the garage, drive it again etc...., keeps going until you clean the tank out, well that's what I was told.


Don't just get any camera, get a motion camera that way you don't have as much video to go through.

 

motion camera, that sounds like a fantastic idea...yet expensive... *contemplates*

and this eggshell thing, does it destroy the car? or can it be resolved pretty easily? like, clean out the tank? cause I know the sugar trick pretty much destroys the whole system of the car....and I don't think I want to be that evil lol

 

Those camera's aren't to expensive, just gotta find the right place, maybe sam's club, or ebay. The egg shell's stick to the screen when the car runs, then when it's towed they fall back off so you can drive the car until they stick to the screen again, so all you have to do is flush out the gas tank.

 

okay that's not as in depth as the sugar process...

hmm I wonder where I would put the camera where it won't be seen, but can still get a good enough shot of the people doing the crime... don't want people to see the camera either, since my area isn't the safest about break in...grrr if rollie got broken into again, I'm gonna go nuclear....lol

So, syn, did you decide what you were going to do for the meet? put new, unpainted parts on? or go to the meet with the booboo's intact?

 

Some of those camera's are pretty small, so you could tuck it in a corner. I'm thinking I might put my stuff on, still debating.

 

well, it's not supposed to really rain in PA this weekend so you should have time and sunshine on Saturday, if you need, Sunday MD and VA get hit by scattered showers...

lol Leshil and I are doing an overhaul on his car this Saturday: clean, wax, detail, change air filter, clean MAF, install new headlights and put on summer tires...DOOD! I am the best navigator/sidekick ever...lol I earn my way to the meets

The camera's come in night vision too. I have researched them for a contract in the past.

 

well I want one when I get my 8 so I can stomp on some of the punjab's in the apartment complex....

 

To get a high resolution one will be a pretty penny. Knowing your apt, the only place you could put one up to watch your car is on your balcony

My car is almost done, just gotta put that damn body kit on yet, then basically done modding . How was OC, we wish we could of came, but didn't quite have the money?

 

turns out each room had queen sized pull out couches...so plenty of people could have split rooms...lol.
