Tri-State Rotary Club BBQ @ Steakboy's (possibly)

Alright. For all of you fellow Tri-State Rotary Clubber's, I'm thinking about throwing a BBQ. I'm looking at dates, and thinking about it happening on a Sunday. (That way, Chuck can attend!) The BBQ will involve food (I'll make ribs again!), swimming in our pool, and some spirited driving near where I live! The invitation extends to more than just the TSRC peeps, so all are invited.

For anyone looking to see how far it would be from where you live, I live near Milford, DE. For when people are coming for sure, I'll PM my addy for NAV's and Mapquest.

Also, you can see my dad's 1950 Chevy pickup that he's restoring. I know some of you have been following the progress, and this'll be a perfect chance to see the truck up close!

I'd like to start a list as soon as possible so I know how many to expect.

3) Darkrose
4) Shinka213
5) Kimberly Lynn
6) MazdaspeedFeras
7) Earl The Pearl
...

MENU

Steakboy's Famous Ribs
Hamburgers
Hotdogs
Assorted Chips (Thanks Kimmi)
Assorted Drinks (Thanks Dean)
Watermelon (Thanks Earl)
Pat's World Famous Baked Beans (Thanks Pat)
Veggie Kabobs (Thanks Liz)
...

UPDATE:

It looks like this weekend would be best for people. So, this Sunday, July 15th is the date. I'd say be here BY 3:00 if you can. Earlier is ALWAYS welcome.

Things to bring:
-Bathing suit/towel if you wanna swim
-5 or 10 dollars to help with food/drinks/etc. OR bring a "covered dish" or something else. When you decide what you are going to bring, let me know, so I can cross it off the list of stuff to get and add it to the menu.

wow, ok, I know that this would be really early, but maybe this weekend? I waiting for Pat to call me back to see if she has to work, but it would be another good date as well. the 22nd there's a show, kimmi has 3 exam weeks that I'd like to work around, the 29th is no good for Pat nor Chris. so, that leaves this weekend for this month, and, wow! no weekends for next month. ****. I'm on vacation from the 18th to the 25th of August. the 26th would be bad for me cause I'd be back from vacation and wouldn't have time to make ribs and get ready and so on.

ok, so if this weekend is way too soon, then we can figure out a sunday that people can come. I'd like to get kimmi down here, but she already told me that if we have to pick a date that interferes with her exams, then she'll have to skip out.

alright, chime in!

This Weekend would be fine. Annemarie (my lovely wife. ) will be outta town though, so I'd be coming alone.

But I guess this weekend is as good as any mate. Just keep us posted.

And Chris, bring the wifey bro!

Kim, do you have any school stuff going on this weekend?

Yeah Sunday. Cool. I'll update the first Post. I wanna start a new list for this weekend. Also, lemme know if you are bringing a guest. I may ask for people to bring a few bucks to cover food, or for people to bring some. Also, I will try to work out a menu.
