wow had some free time and popped into edgewater... friggin cops were at all the entrances checking cars that seemed a lil tricked out or had exhausts! so i just drove away from them.. ridiculous! im guessin edgewater meets are a no no for some time now...

I hate to break the news to you but we just drive mazdas... Its not like we have mclarens or lambos.. Lol
The right! hondas are pretty impressive. To take a 4cyl. Motor and crank out 350...400+ that will smoke most rx7's. Rotarys are cool but theres alot of other cars to give props to.

I remember Jim from JPR went to honda day. Now this guy has some impressive cars that hes worked on, and he even told me he likes to see what the honda are up 2.

his car and his friends cars will roast most rotaries. he made me think twice about rolling up to a stock sedan civic when I had the FD.

as the weather gets nicer I think we will need to find a spot for Thursday night. I have a few places in mind and yesterday photo shoot made me think of a few places in Paramus. (IKEA) for one.

look, there good cars, they car make good power....but the fact of the matter is..the only thing special about them is v-tec....because every other 4 cyl out there can do the same things

look at gm..with the cobalt, there pushing some good numbers, what about toyota? there up there too...nissan makes good 4's

so whats the big deal? i never and will never understand they hype...yea we drive mazda's....but mazda in itself has a very long track record and history with racing thats far more impressive imo then honda....and im not just talking about the rotary

the miata has been and still is the best roadster out there, the ms3 is still a better sports compact...yada yada yada....

lastly it doesnt help honda much that they atract some of the worst scum out there....hey kel...why exactly are you worried about your seats again?

but ive said enough...i dont really feel there was ever a need to get far into this...its just how i feel about them

maybe i should go on a one week picture spree of all the hondas i see in the area and make a board with a good and bad side to see which list is bigger

The thing about honda is, its a very affordable car.. which i think is huge advantage over mazda. how many people can afford a rx8?? rx7?? or let alone the maintenance fees??

your honda can be your beater for the first 7yrs... and then turn into your track monster for the following 5yrs.. lol..

i think we in the rotary community have just as much ******** as hondas... and its worst cause since its such a small community you always run into them... at least with honda's if 100 guys are asses there's a thousand others that arent..

im not ready to start a battle of which company is better.totally honest. I never in a million years thought I would have my prize Vehicle be a Honda, but the fact is I drive a honda now and I give my car so much respect for what it is.

unless you walked my shoes and maybe when you get to be my age and see all the cars out there you will see what I mean.
and honda racing history cmon you must not know about Indy or better yet 600rr or GP motor bike racing, Im not gonna google and come up with facts this is from experience and dont worry grasshopper one day.

very small FF for you, most 4 cylinders come with some sort of VVT in the cars...and all n/a rotors have there own version of v-tec....

v-tec is a varying of valves by altering lobes on the cam shaft...simply put, it lets more air/ fuel in when it hits v-tec

my car has a variable intake...same principles but i have no valves or cams

when my car hits 3500 rpms the intake is adjusted to allow more a/f in..so i have v-tec too

and there is a very big difference...honda has a 4 cyl so does every other company, what other company still produces a rotor?..theres a bit of an exotic touch to it

and the indy thing...i once heard a rumor that mazda also competes..but doesnt ferrari and renault always win? but for that matter toyota does NASCAR and i dont think honda ever competed in any bracket of Le manns,and the only cars they use in GT racing is the NSX and maybe the s2k but never any of the other ones
