Thumbs up Titanium 8 travelling westbound on Route 78...

... just outside of Newark, NJ this morning at 12:15am. I pulled up next to you in the left lane in a VR 8 and honked and gave a thumbs up. Couldn't tell if you heard me but if you're on here just wanted to say "Hello!".

Nah, not at the airport. I work in downtown in the Gateway Center on the corner of Market St and Rt 21/McCarter Highway. The company I work for has an office there, so I get the "pleasure" of driving in 4 days a week and enjoying the ambiance Newark has to offer.

Do you park in the lot on Mulberry Street?

My wife parks in the lot there and came home one evening and mentioned that she saw a red RX8.

If you mean the lot next to the fire station on Mulberry, yeah, I park there from time to time. I go into work at 2pm, so if I can't find a spot on the ::GASP:: street, I'll park in that lot until I can move the car later. That lot is only attended until 7pm, so after that I move the car and I can usually find a good, well lit, relatively safe spot next my building.

I know most folks wouldn't dream of parking on the street in Newark, but s far I have not had any problems. I used to have a M-B C230K that I parked on the street all the time, never had a problem. And when the weather is nice I ride my motorcycle and park it on the street, too.

... of course, now that I've said that I've probably jinxed myself.

Yes, that's the one; my wife went to get her truck and the attendant was commenting on your RX8.

What bike do you ride? I have a 03 F4I, do you post on GSSC or TSSB sites?

I have an 04 Suzuki Marauder 1600, so I'd be out of my element on the GSSC or TSSB sites, LOL. But, my bike does have the same front braking system from a Kawasaki ZX9, so there is some sportbike DNA in there.
