about a month ago i got my rx8....i drove it so much i literally was doin a tank in 2 days...i would go to the same sunoco and get 94 octane. i got 94 one night and the next day they only offered 93 as the max. and they got a middle grade now...instead of the usual 87 89 93 94. it is now 87 89 91 93. what happened? i went to every sunoco i kno of and...they all only offer 93. has anyone else noticed this?


anyone know where 94 is available


ps dont tell me to just use 91 bc thats what its "designed to run on" if ur gonna say that, dont even post. im looking for some help, not some annoyance

I just got gas last night at Sunoco and they still had the 87 89 93 94. I paid 3.25 for 94, I put in $25 and got 1/2 tank. But as far as I know where I live we still have it and arent getting rid of it.

They're phasing out 94 in many markets. MA/NH/RI/ME haven't had it for at least a year now.

Been using 93 since.

i asked a guy who worked at sunoco today...(reliable source???? haha)

and he said they cant reach 94 octane level bc they put some new additive in it and the octane cant get to 94 anymore......ethanol i think he said???? is it safe to be running whatev that crap is in my baby???

yeah my friend told me that his sunoco gas station stopped because they are phasing out 94. sorry i dont know anywhere that has any.
