RX-8/ RX-7/ Rotary g2g @ Cook Auto; Aberdeen MD

We are hosting a g2g for RX-8's, RX-7's and anything with a Rotary (would love to see a 13B Miata!) on Saturday Dec 6th @ 10am - whenever. Nothin' fancy, just a place to hang out. We'll clear some space for you guys. I'm still working on some fine details and trying to get some vendors here, etc.

Just wondered if you guys would like to see anything special, or have any special requests for the event.

I announced this in the MD people thread, but I figured this would get more eyes this way.

Physical address is 1136 S. Philadelphia Blvd, Aberdeen, MD 21001 - we have an entrance on 7 and on Rte 40.

...I think this is one of those 'call out sick' sort of instances. I however will be at work while you guys are here. Two birds, one stone. Yay-yah!

Alright, the g2g is underway...we are going to have food, some trophies (not sure of categories; maybe wildest RX, best paint, etc.). We are having a banner made up etc.

What we'll probably do is clear a portion of the Mazda lot, and have you guys park there and give you guys ample hang out room.

If you guys can think of anything else, any ideas, let me know.

*IF* I could get a dyno here...would you guys be interested?? Not saying I can, but I have some places I can call...I can TRY, but it would have to be worth it to the dyno people.

I'm trying to work on getting Agile Automotive here...I dont know if they have a mobile dyno tho...I emailed em to find out.

So, who else would be in for the dyno?

...and remember its a BIG IF....they might not be able to come. I'm trying.

Are there any other semi-local rotary vendors out here in the NE?

yeah thats deffinately a big IF,, you need a pretty well controlled environment to do that,,, I would focus on putting together a well structured g2g and show,,, Still waiting on Pat to start chiming in too...
