ok guys if you are in the Newark, Elizabeth ,linden, rahway, Carteret, woodbridge, Edison, new brunswick and any local towns close to route 1. The meet spot will be at lowes new brunswick cinemas on rt1 south. It is just over the bridge on the right. The time will be for 9:30 am! We will depart at 10:00 am to the nj turnpike rest stop between exits 8 and 8a. to meet with the new york and northern area caravans. I feel this is a good and fair time for us to all meet up. And gives a good time for northern and new york caravans to meet with us. If everyone is good with this time start spreading the word!
New york areas if you feel this gives you enough time to meet with the central nj area on the nj turnpike then pass the word! If this time is to early then we will move the meet time to 10:00am at the lowes movie theater. This is posting in both threads in rx7 and rx8 forums! Any questions please feel free to pm me. Im going to be leaving from Englewood if anyone wants to meet up.. Broad Ave ramp. (let me know if you are going this way and I will wait).
Google Maps says its 2 hours to Atco. Is there anywhere on I-95 you guys wanna meet up? anyone coming from the GWB?
Should we do a rest stop like the Vince Lombardi service area as the meet spot for the north?
I don't know how to find the rest stop between 8 and 8A on google maps.. so I do not know how long it will take to get there.
Help me out if you can!
If anyone has any plans coming from the north let me know so we can arrange a meet.

Almost 3 hr ride for me, really want to make it though. Just to make sure the address is 1000 Jackson Rd, Atco, New Jersey 08004? Also, is it worth entering the car show if your stock? Or just go as spectator?

Big thanks to Ray from TNC,
He helped fix my car on the side of the road 11 minutes away from Rotor Fest.
Its not a rotary event until someones car breaks down, it just happened to be the newest car there with the least amount of miles
semi hard launch from a stop sign, all of a sudden car bogs like its nobodies business, wont go anymore and i let off the gas... idle dips SO FAST, straight to 0. I pull off to the side of the road, try to start it and it turns over and then dies in 5 seconds.
Spark plug wires came loose on coils #1 and #4 (fixed by pushing on them)(did coils plugs and wires the night before, only had 70 miles on them at the time)
MAF gasket was broken (fixed with electrical tape, and bored out the middle with a knife)
2nd screen in my CAI was turned 90 degrees (fixed by turning it back around)
Car now idles better than it did when i first bought the car, didnt have any problems coming home either. Just need to buy a stupid gasket now before i drive it again.
