Rotorfest Caravan meet will be located on Spring Street 1 block from the HOLLAND TUNNEL. We will meet up there by 8:00am and stay till about 8:45am. We will then go to NJ (where the NJ heads will be ALREADY waiting by MOBILE gas station/DUnken Donuts Parking Lot). We will leave no later than 9:15am (45 minute drive to exit 48 off Route 80). We will then arrive at 10:00am sharp at the RX-8 Club NJ location where the NJ/NY/MA/RI/CT guys will be. Therefore me and Chrism's caravans will meet up and we can hang out for 15-30 minutes and meet one another, then we can depart in a monster caravan to Rotorfest. I beleive Rotorfest starts at 11:00am, We will be there when they just open and will be first to arrive.

FINAL SCHEDULE:

1. NY Meeting on WASHINGTON STREET, between W Houston and Spring Street. From this street we can easily get to the HOLLAND TUNNEL (make a left on spring st and a right on varick). This street has factories and is always dead, and very big to accomodate our cars.



2. Be there at 8:00am Sharp.

3. 8:30-8:45am we will be leaving to meet the NJ Caravan at the Basking Robins/Dunken Donuts &Parking Lot (if the parking lot is too full park next to the gas station). Here we can get coffee and donuts and supplies for the trip.

4. 9:00am-9:15am we will be leaving the dunken donut/ gas station area and go to ROTORFEST. We will jump on I-95 NJ Turnpike Going North towards I-80 West!

REMINDER: NY Side 8am....845am we leave to meet up with NJ people.

Leave NJ the latest 9:15am, so anyone who cant meet up with us at 845am by the holland tunnel, go straight thru the tunnel and catch us by the NJ side.

REMINDER2: New york people, meet up on Washington Street which is located between W. Houston and Spring Street. Its a empty street that can accomodate our cars with no one bothering us.

From this street u make a left on spring street and on Varick STreet we make a right and it leads you directly into the TUNNEL. This is the best spot so we will see everyone there at 8am so get tehre 15minutes early to wait for everyone until 830am no waiting sorry iight. We cant keep our counterpartrs on NJ waiting.

REMINDER3: You Jerseys guys meet up by gas station and Basking RObins/ Dunken Donuts parking lot or since ya live there anywhere else close to the holland that can accomodate all our sevens. Cause i know people would like to stop and pick up some supplies such as Water, candy, donuts, coffee or hookers. US NY guys will have enuf time to run and get what we need before we set off on our trip.

REMINDER4: Please Bring your own directions just in case we get seperated. I CANNOT make good videos if I have to be in the front guiding the caravan. Jchafner, John64 and myself will print out a few directions for those FORGETFUL people. I will not be escorting the caravan this year (Not that much), i will be trying to make some good RF videos!

We will link up at exit 48 off of route 80 with the RX-8 caravan..

yeah my caravan will meet in a few spots in queens, lower manhattan then by mobile gas station/ dunken donuts parking lot, then we will head up to Kel/Chrism Love Child spot (exit 48 off route 80) , then get back on Route 80 to exit 19 to Island Dragway in NJ

Chris or anyone, where is this meet up spot? I know it is one of these Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins. Anyone got the street or address? I think I will try to meet up with everyone somewhere, but this all Sounds way South of me. I am so far up 17 almost to NY Thruway.

combining my caravan with the 8 caravan has made this cruise to RF the best thing around. I enjoy it more than the actual event lol. Driving fast with rotary ppl is the cooolest.

Previous years we had a few cops that were rotary owners with us so if one of us got pulled over we got the hook up. I know theres a few guys on here that are cops in the tristate area. Ya wanna hook us up!

last year everyone left in sections and didnt wait to caravan together. Then when we got on the highway, some were driving slow and some faster.

word jay, im mad excited about the caravan. i be watchin the caravans that you recorded last year n stuff n i be gettin mad hyped . lol and it would be ill if we did that quick shoot i suggested. imagine we all turn our emergency lights on n start to slow down n try to get lined up next to eachother till we stop, some of us can run out of our whips real quick n take mad pics, then we run back into our rotaries n while everyones honking behind us we all peel out. lol ill see if i can borrow that digital SLR that i brought to the valley stream meet cause it has the setting where i can take like 10 shots per sec.

Anyone coming from Northern New Jersey down route 17 south want to meet up with me for the drive to Hoboken? I am about a half an hour from Hoboken if I am driving the RX8 and it is not a parking lot. Some days it is an hour. PM or post if interested.
