rotorfest 2007
depending on how things go.. i'll be sure to be there this year hopefully with new equipment hooked up in the engine.. (if its not sold by then).. So 7/7/07 is the date?.. that will be great..
Toss me on the list. Barring catastrophic failure, I should be there. I'm not sure if I'll be interested in the track. It depends mostly on how much I hate my clutch and tranny at that point.
hwy im thinkin about headin down this year. My RX-8 is on the way, and I want to do some work to it before I bring it down. Anyone got any ideas what i can do to supe it up. I'm doin research, but I thought I would ask the people who know what works and what doesn't. Im pretty new to getting into cars, but I know I'm really gettin' into it.
My first suggestion would be to study up on basic engine theory so you know what the mods you are looking at are trying to do. There isn't much theory to changing your corners or buying a body kit, but once you start playing under the hood, you really need some basic knowledge to buy things that'll work together. It's nice to meet some local guys and see how what they have done has turned out. Stay away from Chrism. He will give you bad ideas!
Ya, I'm not really interested in getting a body kit or changing the exterior at all really. It's not really my thing; Ive never been big into it. Im really just trying to, like you said, screw around under the hood. Im not bad with cars myself, I mean I can fix most any problem, but on newer cars it just seems like you have go to the dealer for any little thing. My old car was an integra and I could fix near anything on it myself. Im erally lolokin for where to go and what to get
). If things change I'll definatly let you know and we can ride down together. As it get closer I'm sure a Rx7club caravan might form outa MA a small one did out by Worcster if memory serves and hooked up with one in NYC.
