I hate dealing with Manhattan Auto Groups (Manhattan Ford/Mazda) even though I bought from them.

Any suggestions for good service departments in Queens or northern Jersey that are competent, know the RX-8 well, and dont take your car to McDonalds on a joy ride (I found the McD's reciept in my car)

Anyone use the dealer service on Queens BLVD?

 

The service at Great Neck Mazda on Northern Blvd west of, Little Neck Pkwy is okay. I bought my car from them and the service people seem fine for a dealership. I don't frequent dealership service bays often (since I think all dealerships suck) but the warranty work they did was satisfactory. I try to do all other maintenence myself.

I hate any one who works on my car who takes off the engine cover and tosses it upside down on a work bench - all dealerships seem to do this...

If you go there Paul is a good guy.

 

+1 on Great Neck Mazda. I've given them all my warranty work and they have done a great job. Never question you or anything. Yen is the usual guy on my car and he's cool.

I've been hiding from crazy ppl like u!! No, I'm kidding......relaxing and not enjoying my winter tires :p Can't take those corners fast, nor accelerate without skidding, lol. Of course, I'll be there on april! Gotta do more of those runs

Great Neck sounds good but I hate dealing with the LIE - I'll probably end up in Ramsey since no one commented on the dealer on Queens BLVD.
