Hey all i work close to Giants stadium and am new here and the proud new owner of a 2005 6spd RX-8!!

I bought the car at East Coast Mazda, I got a 2 for one deal because my girlfriend was getting another Mazda 3 since she totalled hers on Sunday in a bad accident.
We got great deals on both and S-Plan pricing through my company.
I traded in my Acura TSX mainly because it was automatic lol and i was tired of it after 2 years.

I have a few questions if anyone can point me in the right direction!
Anyone have a RX8 Icelink write up? I called dension and they told me it isnt available for 05 RX8 untill august 15th.

And where do i start with the modding!!!!
Any reccomendations, dynos etc!

Sorry to sound like a noob i was a member over at the acura site for 2 years im just new to the RX8 scene.

The TSX is a nice car man. My wife just bought a TL W/Nav but neitherare an 8 baby! LOL

 

i really like the TL but hate the fact its FWD.
If they come out with an AWD version i would get it in a heartbeat.

i got a winning blue one. still got the east coast tags on it lol.
looks so sweet without the front plate arghhh i wish i lived in CT.
I work right in moonachie off of road and ave.
im sure we will see each other around this is my first manual car of my own so im still getting used to manual and the car lol so i try not to joy ride just yet lol

LOL...damn cris, I didnt know you lived right there. I used to bowl there all the time and play baseball at a field not too far from there.

i told you guys i lived up the block from acosta.....and im down for a bowling meet....there is always an older guy with a blue 8 parked in there too.....

 

hey im down for a meet one day. my fiance bought a 3s on the same day the RX8 will actually be hers. Im just pimping it out till about March then passing it off to her and getting me a TL more then likely.
Im still getting used to driving stick lol, she taught me on her now totalled 3, but i still screech out of first a little and stall out at least twice a day lol. Any tips besides practice practice practice?

THis is funny. I just really started getting serious about bowling like two weeks ago. ive gone like 6 times in the last two weeks lol. So when is the rx8 bowling meet?

 

im down for just about when ever......hell its 1/2 block from my house....i will still drive the 8 there though

 

hey chrism are there any threads or do you have any reccomendations on 2 way alarm for the RX8? I seen something about a factory add on. But i would like something with 2 way and with a proximity sensor.

honestly i only have the factory alarm but trust me they arent taking this car.....unless its flatbed ofcourse :D ....i would be more than glad to show you my hoopty....just let me know when you wanna chill :D
