I agree with all of these guys. If it was a HIGHLY customized rx8 it might look good but otherwise looks like another person who cant afford to paint their fenders.

Carbon fiber is used for the skins, not typically the entire structure. There are a number of high end sportscars out there with CF skins.

Keep in mind that shattering also absorbs/deflects energy, e.g. the ceramic plates in body armor.

^ yep your right but you wouldnt really want to make the whole b-pillar structure out of it beacuase you dont want the structure shattering and completly collapsing in a roll-over sorry I'm not trying to be an *** but this is actually one of those few thing I can comment on and that I know about lol I guess being an engineering student has its perks (not much of a perk if you ask me haha)

*sorry for a the thread jack*

If you like it go for it but I'd quickly accent the rest of the car with some carbon fiber if i were you good luck!

Don't do it

low & slow. It's not terrible. It looks out of place due to nothing else is carbon fiber. But honestly, who the **** cares about what other people have to say. Do what suits you and keep going with it. Just make sure you buy more carbon fiber to let it match more of the vehicle.

if it's your time to go it's your time to go; regardless of cf being able to withstand blah blah blah. fitment looks great! it looks kinda sketchy on the car like shown in the pics, but with a cf hood I bet it'd look 10x better

It looks good, a little unfinished, perhaps if you get the CF doors, hood, trunk, bumpers, roof wrap on black vinyl and the 1/4 panels paint it black matte, it would look better. overall looks ok, and if you like it, it's what matters! oh and a set of bronze rims!

You should CF the whole car but the frame. You can get doors bumpers sideskirts trunk hood roof and gas door in CF. Then it would look better, I'm not knocking it though, just needs more work. Have you gotten any more cf since you started this?

Not only has the guy not logged in for 2 years, he ripped me off for $350.

What's the point of a conversation 2 years old?
