NY pics of the new fenders

I just put on some Carbon Fiber fenders the other day with a friend of mine and I think it looks sick. All I need now is the hood and the bumper. How you guys like it?

^I wouldnt get the doors in cf. they are designed to form a virtual b pillar when closed and if you replace one with cf it could weaken that b pillar and in the event of a crash could collapse

I know this isn't the type of comment you are looking for - but being honest: It looks like your car was in a wreck and you couldn't afford to get it painted.

sorry but I think it looks TERRIBLY out of place.
On a modified car I could understand but on what appears to be a bone-stock car, it doesn't look good.

you mentioned a hood and bumper?
CF bumper?!

Carbon fiber is stronger than steel (as well as lighter). No worries.

^It may have a higher tensile strength but in compression its strength is not as high, also it doesnt crumble like steel it shatters and therefore would not absorb as much force once it reaches its breaking point.

Its not as safe...

any thoughts about painting it WB to match? it does look a little ghetto like you couldn't afford to paint it as mysql said.

Well for the door dent I have a contact with a dent wizard guy that is really good and get that out without a problem. Got all the dings out of mine ( hate buying used ). As for the Body and Paint. My car is in now being painted. When it gets out take a look. I should have it back Thursday night after 5. Stop by I'll be putting my bumper and lights back on.

To each their own. If you like it thats all that matters but I personally agree that the car looks unfinished. Paint them to match the rest of the car.

If you're next to it, of course. But most times people aren't near your car when they see it.

yes however I cant see a whole door of carbon fiber being able to withstand the crushing force of a car down on it without breaking, carbon fiber will not bend or give as steel would.
