Peoples experiences with SMG racing in Warwick RI?
I just recently became the owner of a 2004 Mazda rx8, I’m looking to find a reputable builder for my rx8 for when the engine eventually goes boom as to not get caught off guard as much. After some research I found SMG racing in Warwick RI which is relatively close to me and from what I’ve seen is a reputable place. I just want to hear some peoples personal experiences with them and if I should have them rebuild my rx8 when it comes time.
I was curious and looked them up, and their FB page shows an RX-7 build:

No personal connection to them nor do I know anyone who's dealt with them, so I'm not recommending them, but at least they look like they know what a rotor is.

I still have some time to look around. I guess I’ll keep on looking for a shop unless I hear of someone who has worked with them before.
I did see a fantastic silver RX8 the other day on I-95 and tried to catch up to her - only item I saw was a Cape Cod Customs license bracket. Their website doesn't indicate any rotary experience but you may want to ask.
The closest to New England is probably Angel and the closest rotary machining is probably Rotary Science in virginia I think.
Otherwise your best bet is to find a friendly neighborhood builder or ship it out to a shop. I was contemplating starting to build engines for people in southern NH/MA, but I simply don't have time this year to work on other's projects.

Really I need to find a house with a comercially zoned garage. Otherwise I have to look into what is allowed locally for running businesses. My current house we had to sign papers saying we are not going to run a business out of our barn (which comically we do so much fabrication and silly projects that anyone would assume we are a business)
