ok chrism....i gotta rock a body kit now....in order to compete with you, kel, antonio and vicki....now i have a tough decision to make....

on another note: do you think some day we could roll and compete as a club? I think we got what it takes and then some....not that many rx8 clubs competing as a group....

hey kel, ill be at e town this weekend, my buddy is gonna be running his civic in the races. i wont be showing, but ill be there.

 

i got no problem competeing together......and with the shinka you already got plus points but you need to be a litle more aggressive with the body.....im not saying be as wild as mine but it does garner attention which is what is important.....individuality is what is key so i would say find something not many have and get that kit

Hey i like the idea the only prob is the spread. chrism and kel are pretty far north but yeah one of these events definately. Besides I like a friendly competition. I have to do some mods to move up to 1 overall next time

Ummm, if anyone would like a body kit, I have a really sweet deal.....it seems I was shipped the wrong kit, and was told to keep it, the correct kit is on it's way....all I have to say is when all is said and done, and the dust settles, lazi is getting a helluva good guy thread. This man just blew me away with his customer service!! WOW!!!
Anyway, I have a Veilside replica lounging at the body shop....

This is what i was thinking....either the Autoexe body kit all the way around OR
since i am the CF HO on this forum, the Autoexe CF front, side and rear splitters... this would definitely be different....

careful on CF kits cuz if it dont fit right you cant change it like FG.....

 

yeah, ive had an experience already with that.....the wing had fitment issues....I spent a whole day (mothers day to be exact) working on it to make it fit...

one positive thing about cf - no paint....lol

 

personally i would only get the add ons if your going cf like varis , burnout or autoexe has....but if your going full bumper replacement then i would be really leary....too many horror stories about fitment....i have seen some with my own eyes and it didnt look good....and if your doing this for the whole trophy look then keep in mind judges look close to lines and will take points away if its off.....
