I'm also somewhat tall. ~5'11 for some reason I fit very poorly in cars the 8 especially.

I am researching some mods to aid with that.
1 - Lowering seat cushion
2 - extend steering wheel

For the seat I will be making an appointment next month with a place that seems good. Should cost ~$150 maybe more. I printed out pages from the manual with seat assembly graphics so I could show the seat guy when I get my final estimate.

For the steering wheel it will probably have to wait till Momo comes out with a hub for the 8. I want to keep the stock steering wheel so I can keep the airbag. Price would be up to ~$1000 hopefully less. Also, have printed a page out of the manual.

well, i am 6'7" and i fit pretty damn well, and i have a sunroof

 

At 6'2" the only problem that I have is that i don't feel like I sit in the seat pocket as snug as I would like. am I the only one? I think I am going to change up to recaro next summer.

 

Meet Update:

just got back from Evolution Performance....we will have two bays alloted for the meet....one will have the dyno, the other we will set up for registration and mingling etc...you will be able to walk thru this bay into the back where there will be the overhang, grills etc....

Im starting to get really excited now....not nervous but excited.....

weather looks very promising....Im gonna eat now, wash my car then wash away the gray.....w00t!

I will probably be there around 930AM if anyone wants to come early to help out...

 

Had my blue get an "executive" detailing today! As long as it doesnt rain bewteen now & the meet, I'll look real pretty tomorrow. (Well, I wont, but the car will!)

 

just finished washing the shinka.....i even cleaned the inside and vacuumed...
w00t!!

I still have to clean the engine bay....gets a little dirty sometimes with that seibon ks style hood

 

my outside is pretty clean, but havent had a chance to vacuum, do the leather or the glass

 

I am freakin exhausted....just finished loading ths SUV with the meet paraphrenalia .....must of done at least 6 trips and i didnt even pack the cold stuff yet...
i feel like im going on vacation....

we better get a good turnout

which one?.....about the wild drifting you decided to do on the highway ending us up facing oncoming traffic scaring a poor elderly woman in an suv out of her wits?.....to take a 3 hour tour of newjersey and going through 17 jug handles only to get to a place that had the worlds smelliest dog.......and wait 13 hours for some one to tell a man who was 87 years old and had coffeecake face that his car couldnt get dyno'd cuz they broke it.....an then wait another 3 hours for them to get some thing that could have taken us a total of maybe 13 seconds given the actual effort?.........nope no story there kind sir.....just going home and getting lost on the way there because discussion confuses certain people while driving.....not a story there either sir....but otherwise i am completely exstatic with the outcome regardless if the custom trunk wasnt completed....it will be so im not worried about it.....and i know its gonna look as sick as it sounds.......ok i cant wait for tomorrow but damn it i gotta wash the car!!
