My tale of woe for tomorrow was I had my Rotary RX-8 valve stem caps stolen - not that it was totally unexpected.

I told my son this morning and asked "Who looks at valve stems?" His answer "The guy that stole them"

 

now who else in your area owns an 8?

Took the afternoon off. Bought a couple of new wheel lugs and nuts. Progress report to follow later.

mothergoose, good luck with that lug nut. worst case scenario, you still come down to the meet with 4 lugnuts holding your wheel...it should be ok

you know I kept the stock valve stem caps because I knew they would get stolen.

Okay guys I'm stuck. I have absolutely new clue how to remove the wheel studs from the rear hub without disconnecting from the drive shaft. There just isn't enough clearance to remove the old studs. I've searched the forums and only the front hub replacement is listed, which has enough clearance.

Any ideas?

 

Do we have to bring our own food or can we bring food and work together in the cooking? Just curious....thanks. What should i bring along with me if i get in the festivities with someone.
