Hey everyone ... this is my first post but i've been lurking around for almost a year now. This board has all the info that i needed!!! and i'm ready to buy with just a few more questions. I read that East Coast Mazda and Great Neck Mazda are great places to make the purchase but are there any other dealership that ppl in this area would recommend. I live in Hoboken so i can either go to nj or ny. I'm thinking of purchasing a titanium gray or blue AT GT Rx-8 with the appearance package. The price on carsdirect.com is $28,762 (this is $100 below invoice). Are there any other incentives? I think there was a unadvertised $1000 manufacturing incentive and i also qualify for the grad incentive. So how much do you think i'm offer should be since the 05 are coming out?? Thanks in advance. Any postitive comments appreciated.


P.S. should i forget the appearance package and just get another bodykit? and is the spare tire kit worht the extra money? Thanks

Try Robert at Wayne Mazda in NJ, say Alex sent you Don't know about incentive nowdays (got my car already) but he should be able to get you well under invoice for a 2004 one. He is the internet sales manager. The dealership is the largest independent in NJ and even if you don't buy the car there, might want to go for service as they know what they are doing.

PS no comment on the appearance package but do get the sport package for the larger brakes, nice headlights, stability/traction control and better tires. I have no spare tire, just a generic patching kit that hopefully I'll never need

i also agree wayne mazda on rt 23 is great
my guy to deal with there is jose.
every moth there is a new deal going on so we all get different pirces,term and such
but give them a ring.
and i dont think spare is worth it.then again i only used my stocke wheels for first 600 miles.

 

i dont kno but personally i heard that flemington mazda was real good. i went to edison it was aight. they sorta screwed me tho. i REALLY wanted a black rx8 =( they were like "no you said titantium grey" i was bout to walk out

 

Crystal mazda is the best. wayne mazda wanted 5000 over msrp. What ever you do dont go to samsone auto mall.

i got my car and for once i dicked them they tried everything to get me to sign another contract for more money.yeah right

 

The sales deprt. at Maple Shade Mazda in NJ is great, but stay away from their service dept.

Yeah.. where did you get that from? The reason I ask is the dealer near me wants $25,500 for a non moon roof, 6 spd, sport package only.

UPDATE: I was calling around and i got $24k offer for a auto with GT and appearance package!! Should I jump on it or haggle more? Anyone got pics of the rotary accent?
