Summer 09 we had a pretty good crowd going for some local meets and car shows. Sadly the person who organized the meets moved. Now we're one shy and it's again getting nice outside we're looking to have some kind of meet in the northern virginia, DC, and Fredericksburg area. Any 8 is welcome of course. I'm thinkin start this year off with a drive either on skyline Dr or another windy road with the windows down music blasin just havin a good time and maybe stop to eat somewhere local there. Nova for some reason hasn't had any really big 8 meets. I think the most we had was 8 or 9 at the car show at the Dick's parking lot car show. If you can come out that would be awesome. The more people the better! Fridays and Sunday's seemed to work before so maybe we can shoot for a sunday maybe mid-April? My number is 540-903-2323 you can text me if youre interested. hey guys you know Im down, sunday 25th sounds good for me too, also I'm going to check here in woodbridge cause I saw a couple of guys meeting, I think their doing it on Thursdays, maybe we can show like we used to.

 

any work day would be really bad, I really try to stay as far away from anything south of 66, traffic is just the suck even after 7pm, specially now that its spring/summer and nice out.

im very anti woodbridge area after living there for 2 years and commuting up 95 to work, getting stuck not being able to get anywhere in the summer because route 1 is deadlocked as is 95. we literally couldn't even go to the store, which was across the street more or less because it took 30 minutes to get there.


errr, so sat/sun would be best. sorry about my rant, that area really made me hate it.

 

robert whats your new number? Roe said she tried to call you but your number was changed. I'm free on thursdays fridays and sundays. Thursdays we can meet in woodbridge like before but i've been really wanting to drive on skyline drive for a while now. If we can at least do it once it would be awesome.

Bacon, we've been meeting in fredericksburg for most of our meets but a couple have been in woodbridge. Also our meets are usually sundays where we all hang out and drive a little bit but on thursdays theres a big car show in the dicks parking lot in woodbridge with all imports. mostly honda guys but there's usually a few nice cars there. We put on a big show when probably 9 rx8's rolled in at the same time and parked together. It's alot of fun to be in a huge group and steal the show. There were probably more 8's than civics!

I'm down for anything i've just been wantin to meet up since the weather is getting sooo nice. i'm pretty sure we're all open for suggestions.

i like the dicks parking lot idea, but no way on thursday, specially if it's starting at 8 or 9. I'd never get up in morning for work (i'm usually in bed by 10)

 

I'm down for Thursday, sounds good to me!! About Sunday, April 25th, i thought i was free but totally forgot its my nephew's baptism @ 12:30PM. Succccccks!!! I can def. meet Thursday & Friday tho'!! I won't have another free sunday ti'l May2nd. Let me know what ya'll decide. Damn i'm sorry about that. But I can def. come out Thurs & Fri.

I think we should do a sunday meet. I got ahold of mike. He moved to Richmond he said he may try to come up for a meet. I'm not sure of the address for Dicks robert may know he's the one who got us going to dicks. Our biggest meet at dicks i think was 9 people? It would be nice to get that goin again. Sunday we may be able to do a skyline Dr or 218. Anyone know what the weather's gonna be like?

 

I couldnt check last thursday cause of the rain but tomorrow Ill check for sure and see if they still doing the meets, this coming sunday I work I dont think I can make it

$54 dollars for people needing rental stuff, comes with 500 paintballs and everything else needed.

As far as paintball great idea but i'm kinda broke especially this month. For sure something i would wanna do.

NOVA for some reason really doesn't have 8 meets I know there are people out there but nobody ever posts. Usually when i see 8's is old grandmas driving the sports car they've always wanted kind of a waste....
