Northeast Track Days (2009) – MVP Track Time

Just a quick note on MVP Track Time’s 2009 Northeast (some Southeast and Mid-Atlantic too for good measure) track days. The track events are listed below:

October 31 – November 1: Watkins Glen "Halloween Fright FAST!”

November 21 – 22: Road Atlanta “Flyin Turkey Trot”

We need to get a group to go to the Halloween one!

 

Couldn't agree more! One of our instructors noted we should have a Halloween costume party for the drivers and the cars. I'll dress like The Stig!

holy crap i want to go, but i'm gonna wait until i get my new rims and sticky tires. Are any of these events SCCA events?

 

yeah i might go to the watkins glen event. unfortunately gotta wait till about august for my rims and tires. but itll be worth it.

I received a call earlier this week from a potential attendee asking "How many run groups and how many sessions each day?". We run three (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced) run groups with six, 20-minute run sessions scheduled for each run group per day.

NM.... I see it now, say full course.

 

Yes, full course at VIR and the long course at Watkins Glen.

Dudes, it was six hours for me.

TOTALLY. WORTH. IT.

Word of warning: Go with new, bedded brake pads. Bring the old ones with you. You may need them to get back. Ask how this enthusiastic old man knows...

 

I was really hoping to go to the Glen except some job problems came up and set it back a bit. Can't really do a 600 dollar weekend.

I so wanted to go, I really love that track and would have been great for a first time.

 

BINGO! Hey it's about 13 hours for me.
