Darkrose 06-05-2007 09:04 PM

I'm down with that......I'm a little north of you, but it would be worth it to join the caravan. :)

kimberly lynn 06-05-2007 09:29 PM

Yeah I think that's semi-far from me... but if there isn't one closer I'll hop on board.

chrism 06-05-2007 09:52 PM

myself and guy(duke) met up last year at the home depot parking lot in hamilton square, then jumped on the turnpike and drove straight to chris and kel's meeting spot in North NJ. I plan on extending the same invite to guy and anyone else who would like to meet up there. Plus from that meet spot its very easy to get to the north NJ meet spot.

kimberly lynn 06-05-2007 11:06 PM

Well thats the one I'm using then... because I know how to get there... unlike some people.

Feras.

chrism 06-06-2007 05:24 AM

yay caravans to the caravan!

Hey Jeff...
where abouts is that off the turnpike?
im gonna try to get a group together down here below philly....we will prolly head up the tpk ...

give me an exit..

Darkrose 06-06-2007 11:58 AM

PA peeps can cross one of the bridges around Philly to get to the south jersey meetup......Probably better than going all the way up to the Turnpike......am I wr...wr....wrong?

Burlington HD is just off Exit 5 of the NJ Tnpk - Head N (left after toll) and you can't miss it.
Hamilton HD is off Exit 7A - Head West on 195 and take the Rte 130 S exit.

Actually - if you all are heading up the NJ TNPK you should just pick the different rest stops to meet up:

James Fenimore Cooper (northbound, 39.4, in Mount Laurel Township; officially "J. Fenimore Cooper")

Woodrow Wilson (northbound, 58.7, in Hamilton Township (Mercer County))

Joyce Kilmer (northbound, 78.7, in East Brunswick Township)

# Grover Cleveland (northbound, 92.9, in Woodbridge Township)

ROTARYROCKET7 06-06-2007 12:59 PM

Hey pat, we would be gettin onto exit 7a then heading north, there is a rest stop on the northbound side right before exit 9 (i know because I use to commute to rutgers that way.) We could all just meet on that rest stop being that we'll have to take the turnpike further north anyways.

I guess it would depend what time the NYC guys are meeting up in the northern jersey spot. Last year I left hamilton square at 8:30 i believe to get up north at 9:30-10. Once it gets closer and everyone has their meet times up we should choose when to meet up on the TP

well be meeting by exit 48 off I-80 at 10:00am. I have intermediate caravan points in Queens, Manhattan (By Holland Tunnel) and New Jersey (By Holland Tunnel) then we will depart here are bout 915am to get to kel/chrism spot about 10am. So we will be on NJ Turnpike I-95 North by 915am shooting up towards GWB area to get onto I-80 west.

Huge Caravan, we might overgrow that parking lot chris (we did last year).

" i can get the PA, DE, MD group to meet up in my area and we an head to the turnpike."

Hello!

Have you decided where we are all gonna meet up before we head down?

Sorry to be a pest, but I am kicking myself for missing out on the Audio Jam show this past Saturday. :tear: I don't wanna miss out on this!

Thanks. :)

shinka213 06-25-2007 07:05 PM

Im thinking that anyone from southern PA, DE ...we can meet at the McDonalds at the rt 452 exit off 95 ( second exit into PA coming north)...

not sure of the time....tho....then we would head to jersey, over the commodore barry bridge to the nj turnpike...

looks like we can all meet at that rest stop off the turnpike before exit 9....

Hey Jeff...does that rest stop have a name??

Kel Rx8 06-25-2007 08:51 PM

its on like donkey Kong

Pat it is the world famous "Joyce Kilmer" rest stop between exit 8a and 9 (northbound)

http://www.state.nj.us/turnpike/nj-vcenter-kilmer.htm

Lets go for a 9 a.m. meet there cuz if I remember correctly it's about 45-60 min drive to chris and kel's meeting lot (which by the way looks like it's going to be PACKED with rotaries.)

Anyone in the central Jersey area is more than welcome to join me on the drive to that turnpike meeting spot. Next week i'll make a seperate thread so info does not get confused.
