LOL well I don't spend much time on the forum if I am not driving my car. My car is still in storage as well Spin. I was just thinking that maybe we should start putting one together for early - mid April. I mean with this winter being the way it is, I am sure that April won't be too early!
Maybe another coastal run? Maybe we change gears and head towards the Adirondacks this year? Just throwing some thoughts out there!

Ya, I can see doing an overnighter. My one-way drive to/from home will be 6 hours, plus I'll have other friends to visit in the area in addition to the run.
If the run is Saturday I might spend Fri-night and Sat-night in town. Got suggestions for maximizing comfort/$?

If we end up around Barre Vt I can crash at my friends place hehe..
Sadly right now one of my friends who lives in NH has broken up with her fiance so they are selling their home and by the time we have this run it might be sold.
I know we all crash at Kev's (My10ea)

I'm definitely up for this. Anyone up for an install meet as well? I'd like to change the transmission and differential fluids and maybe install a new exhaust but I don't have a garage or a flat driveway.

Damn! I knew I shouldn't have opened my mouth. LOL. Looks like I am gonna get stuck organizing this thing. I guess I am gonna have to do some research! I'll also try to use my negotiating skills to get us a group deal on hotel rooms. I know some of you have friends in the area, but the route I am thinking of might not be convenient for these stops... We'll see.
I guess we should get serious about this. Everyone please spread the word to fellow forum members in NE and Eastern NY so I can gauge interest. I will try to put together a rough run outline.
I will also try to get in touch with Kevin (my10ae) to see if Mazda wants to participate in this at all.
Any suggestions for time frame? Stick to the original Mid April?

Count us in! What route do you have in mind? Overnighter sounds good. Mid-April may be risky. I've seen winters like this before, and there's a chance we will get slammed hard in March and still have either a lot of snow on the ground or still have salt. The Z group I belong to has a rule - cars can come out after the third rain following the last snowfall. That way we're sure the salt's been washed away. Just a suggestion, might want to shoot for mid-May.

Alright guys, I am just trying to space it back from the Races @ Lime Rock Memorial Day Weekend and the following weekend. Kev you know what I'm talking about!
My first rough thought was meet in Brattleboro VT. A good starting point for most. Head west over route 9 to Cambridge/Hoosic Falls area, NY. Then head North by North West up through the Adirondacks and Lakes. Find a spot in the Saranac and Lake Placid Area to stay in. Next day, continue North to Massena to the Locks then South east down the NY side of Lake Champlain. At the end of Champlain cross over at Crown Point and make our way East across VT. Once we hit the border of VT/NH split up from there.
Sound good? This is a pretty lengthy route but I think it will be a great run!

So far the plan sounds alright, took a peak on Mapquest and the squiggly lines made me smile haha.
Btw.. at LimeRock we have the Rolex Series, Grand AM, Speed World Challenge and Amerian LeMans Series going on through Spring-Summer. If enough show interest I'd be up for "attempting" to set sumthing up to caravan down there or atleast meet up. Also American LeMan Series/Speed World Challenge is the weekend after July 4th (6-7th) and on the 8th is Rotorfest, so yeah Ima be doing alot of driving that weekend hehe.

I would like to own some fellow 8 owners, maybe one that has a greddy turbo to compare install's and stuff.
but definately want to wait till may if your planning to come to maine, we usually still have sand/salt on the roads in april.
