New Owner help!
Hi Guys i just bought my 2004 Rx-8 and im currently loving it! I bought it from a large dealer and it came with Greddy SP2 Exhausts and a Apexi SAFC II... however when i took it from the dealer the 'tyre pressure sensor' was on and i asked the dealer to check it...he said that the light would go after a 100 miles and the sensor rereads it...howver after 300 miles its still there! What should i do?!?!? also my passenger side taillight has condensation building up...another thing is that my front and rear tyres are all 245/40/18's is this a reason for the tyre pressure sensor and my really really bad gas mileage ( $42 = 200 miles ) !! Pls help! My car has 66,000 miles on it so is there anything i should know or do to the car?!?!?!? THANKS in advance!
Do you have aftermarket wheels? If you do - and they do not have TPMS sensors in them the lights will be on and will not turn off.
Gas milage is what it is - I get form 14-18 MPG.
Should check the coils and the plugs to be sure they are working.

No the wheels are original mazda 18's...but not sure if the previous owner changed anything...cos the car has the Touring front spoiler, side skirts and rear wing on it...arnt the front tyres supposed to be 225's and NOT 245's? Im really confused...plus can i buy the 5w-30 oil anywhere?
andrew you live like 5 minutes away from me.....i would be glad to inform you of the cars quirkiness and just a word of advise....come to the tuesday night meets behind houlihans on 17s in hasbrook heights

gas mileage is accurate - i get about 200 miles on a tank and pay about $45/tank.
TPMS - check your tire pressure as kane mentioned. see where they're at and if they are fine you have one of two things. either the original owner removed them and put them in another set of wheels or one of them isn't working properly. if you can get to chris he could look at the valve stems and tell you if they're in and if they're in it's a matter of determining which isn't working.
245 is fine for stock 18s.
There's a TSB for the rear taillight condensation: http://www.finishlineperformance.com...14-07-1795.pdf
You're out of warranty, but you can buy the new, revised gasket that seals the lens. (Or, if the inside of the light is permanently stained by moisture, you can buy a whole new redesigned taillght lens that includes the improved gasket.)
