we came to the rescue. ...must admit..hellova meet location.....upstairs for sunny days, plenty of space and a back up downstairs both with plenty of space!!!!!

We discussed the compression test possible day . I guess not this sunday but next. Lets re start a list so we can give nycgps a definate count. It is definately worth it.
1) rx8demon
2)
3)
etc
This is a great opportunity being offered by one of our best members,,,nycgps is a great asset to our community. It is very generous to offer this not to make money..we just need to compensate and thank him for offering to do this for us.

iM SURE we ALL want to know where our engines are as far a compression is concerned before we continue to "invest" in what is definatelly one of the best (and pretty sure a future collectors piece) cars ever styled by Mazda. I know i'm down as I plan to do some major investing on my 8. even if you just want to keep it stock you'll sleep better knowing......so who is next?
As nycgps mentioned before all we have to do is paypal and it will be a lot cheaper than the dealer...

You are very welcome rx8demon.

Well, the compression test thinggy, I *should* be able to do it next Sunday (I think it's Aug 5th?), I will know by around Monday or Tuesday.

if not, maybe the following Sunday? which is the 12th ?

Don't need to paypal, just come out and we work it out, CASH IS KING MuHAHAAHA j/k

Anyway, for those who wanna try this, make sure you have the updated starter, if you already have one, make sure it's not "on it's last leg", cuz if the spins too slow (less than 170), the test result will not be right. A Strong battery helps too. so please MAKE SURE your battery is fully charged before the test.

pm me for pricing. if you wanna spark plug change in the progress or whatever. please tell me in advance so I can set it up.

I had everything in my 7 today, even the compression tester, if the hail didn't come so fast and covered the sunlight, was gonna do it on Rx8demon's car. oh well, we'll find a good Sunday.

thanks, i've been feeling better since the surgery. Yeah there's nothing but constant doses of morphine to calm the pain. It was a bit more than a fracture the bone popped out but I'll live, and it was on a bike :p. Should be up and driving in 2 weeks.

What? No.

That's not normal at all. It should never pull to any side if the road surface is flat and straight. Check your brakes ASAP.

So I've heard from a few other guys from the meet that there was someone in an RX-8 being a bit irresponsible at the meet. Apparently someone with a "wild rear valance".

That type of behavior isn't welcomed at the meet. Please don't ruin it for us rotary guys and ESPECIALLY the other Mazda guys as this is THEIR original meet for the past 6 years. Even though the cops are familiar with the meet and allow it as is, we don't want to get into **** with them... So once again, AS I HAVE STRESSED MANY TIMES BEFORE SINCE I INTRODUCED THE SPOT FROM THE FIRST POST, FOR THE SAKE OF ALLLLLLLLLLL OF US- CUT THE ****.
