hey everyone i am new to the RX-8 scene just picked up my first 2006 RX-8 shinka three days ago. Use to tune BMW and had a huge following and meets in NOVA was wondering if there is anyone with Mazda's that meets in Nova

secondly....we used to have a weekly meet, but people rarely showed up...

Trust me i'd love for us to all gather up and get something more permanent started, buuuuuut ppl back out too much. :/

 

gotcha well i wish we could get mroe people together to do something and thank you for the welcome. When i tuned bmw we use to meet every thursday in fairfax and were always atleast 20 cars out there

 

NOVA meetups are dead. There used to be one in Woodbridge supposedly but the few times I tried to initiate them no one would show up.

That said we should get a meetup or two before it gets too cold out. Come check out my GT3071R everyone

i know lots of tuners but not mazda but would love to get something set up and bring out my RX-8 and my buddies speed6

 

we used to meet in woodbridge and fredericksburg, but its been a while now

 

so what we got to do to try and set something up to get everyone out for a cruise of something..... skyline is always a fun drive

 

We have a NoVa section on the CVMC forum. You guys are welcome to use it for organizing your meets. When we all decide to take a Blue Ridge Parkway run it'll be easy to get people from all over the state.

I know at the Dulles town center Chick Fil A, there is always a huge car meet in the spring/summer every friday night.

 

Ooooh Dulles Town center, that's not far away at all, for me...Buuuuuut

I still feel out of place since i don't ACTUALLY have an 8....I can still come and gawk right?

 

it is not just 8s, it is anything that someone wants to drive there. So you see some REALLY nice cars and then you see the hill billy rednecks and their pick ups, and everything else in between.

Anybody go to the Great Falls Cars and Coffee events on Saturday mornings from 7:30 am to 9:00 am?
It is held in front of the Irish Brogue pub. There was a good turn out a couple of weeks ago and it was cold out.
The turn out for Chik Fil A is poor when the weather is not good.
