Its been a while since Ive been in the forums but it feels good to be back. I just recently moved to NYC from Florida and i need help finding reputable shops that will help me Tune up my 8. I don't have the time and SPACE for me to do it my self so i def need the help. This are the parts im buying as soon as i find the shop or shops.

Had the 8 for a year now but haven't been able to do much to it due to my recent move and all. The only performance part added to my car so far is the CAI by AEM. By the way, the car is an AT Nordic Green. if any of you guys know any vendors that sell any of this parts for cheaper i will def appreciate if ya also let me know.

If you wanted to get your hands dirty I would help you install them. They are not a big deal (exception of the painting).

Small shop but a great group of guys and for the parts you are looking to get installed you don't need any special rotary oriented shop.

 

Welcome to NYC!!! Yea all the shops for a tune check the spots polak said and to install the exhaust it's pretty easy..

 

Just got back in town, Thank you everyone. RCT performance seems likes the closest place to me. Gave them an unrelated call about a CEL i got. :o( Code P0300 and P0302, Spoke to a guy named Ryan i believe. He said he will call me back to let me know his schedule. This sucks. The money i was going to spend on my parts is most likely going to now have to go in to fixing this situation. Sucks that i don't know any of ya NYC 8 owners, Hopefully that will change soon. Maybe i could meet some of ya on the next NYC Meet. Hey Albert (alz0rz ) are you in the City your self?

 

Yeah I am Vangard, everyone who posted in this thread is in the area too. We have quite a few rotorheads in the vicinty. Those two codes are for misfires.. when was the last time (if ever) that the spark plugs/ignition coils were changed? I can almost guarantee you that will solve your CEL. If you buy the parts (spark plugs/coils/wires) ~$230 then we can work out a deal and I'll install them for you. Feel free to text me 347-223-six nine two eight

 

Al what kind of plugs and wires?? Vangard you should come out to the queens meet check out the queens meet thread. Bt the way were in NYC you located?

 

Enzo is the man. Not saying RCT is bad but picking a place based on locale is the worst idea ever. Tuning is probably the most important thing you can do.

 

I cannot thank you guys enough. CEL light is now off. It was a wired that was basically touching the Spark Plugs. After I fixed the wired I did the stepping on the breaks 20 times reset ,then light was gone. Changed the catalytic converter was messed up also so I changed the stock one to a magnaflow one. But yeah thank you everyone, I'm gona check out when is the next Queens meet and see if I make it, il go as long as people show up. Def will like to thank some of ya in person. It should be fun to see ya cars face to face.
