Then came the eyelids.

then the hood

Now the paint...

So this is what I've done so far. much more that needs to be done, but it's a start.

it may have looked better to complete it all the way through the trunk and rear bumper but looks nice nonetheless.

Meh, not the way I would get rid of extra cash, but looks like it was done cleanly, so congrats on that.

I may be getting old - but why does everyone get the CF stuff and then leave it?

Carbon Fiber is a material - not a color!

The car does look clean though!
I am not from NE - but I did stay at a holiday express last night.

Obviously not.

I get the desire for the material - cause it is lighter.... der!

i hear ya Kane....
speakin as a CF expert (i think i can call myself that)

i would not put cf on the car then painted other areas a similar color...
...

if i put a cf hood on the car, i would have added more cf throughout the car...

painting areas of the car black might take away from the beauty of the cf...

PS...the oem hood is extremely light...i dont think there is much of a difference in cf on weight.

NYC - the car looks really noice!!!

I know that it is "uncool" of me to say it - obviously just my opinion.

I guess when you say the "beauty of the cf" that answered my question as to the why; eh? I guess I can dig it - I like to see the engine on a bike / car (Carerra GT with window into engine bay = sex).

But visually - unless it matches your stock paint color I still don't like it.
