Can't really help it where I am. It's not my property plus a tent would make it hard to get out of the parking area. Thank god for glass insurance.

My car survived the storm, but instead I have a coolant leak.. woo. Leaking (or appears to be) out of a big hose. Problem is my mechanics power is out due to the storm. topped off the coolant. will be monitoring it closely.

Its the fatty hose.

Im more concerned with it ruining the pump? (i think its the pump??) the black thing with the electrical wires going into it. When I start up, it sounds like it has nothing in it and whines for a second. then stops. Coolant is leaking faster than i would like it to. i HOPE this is the only spot where its leaking from. I went under the car to check it out and traced the trail back up to the top hose. I dont know if I can trust the engine temp gauge in the car. it never goes over half way. I be worried. Should I order a nice new shiny hose set? or go with a used one?

Just got the power back. My house is still standing and the rx8 seems to be ok. I haven't taken the cover off to check yet since I've been going insane lol. Water rose up pretty high but was still 100 yards or so from actually reaching my house. But there is some pretty good damage in my town. One house, about 3 blocks away from me, was knocked off its foundation and taken out sea, killing most of the people living in it...an oil tanker washed up on shore on the north shore of Staten Island...it's a mess everywhere.

my friend from school has gotten a couple of parts off of junked 8's, i dont know how he finds them lol.

in other news... i just got out of a 3hr gas line in the 8... coolant temp was a high of 209 and intake temps were 120-150, propped the hood open with a mcdonalds cup and temps went down to 203 and 96.

I filled up before the storm and have kept driving to a minimum. And even more to minimum because of the leak. Its just a bad time for a problem to arise. no shops have power.

is this fitment weak? what do you guys think? They will be transferred over to the future FD with either 255's or 265 federal 595 RS-R, (they generally run a size up, so 255=265, etc etc)

J#'s said i could fit a 245 easily at my height with springs, and 255 with a roll.

Keep in mind im about 1-1.5 inches lower than that black rx8.
