Like can you hear see it wobbling or something?

if the engine pulley was installed incorrectly that might just be it or a bad clutch isntall. Are you planning to take the engine out now?

Buy a calendar from polakgraphics and youll feel better.....mr.september

Pulley was checked back during the Carlisi meet before the last one. I believe the weobbling wasn't as bad then. Engine is probably going to come out sometime in Feb.

its actually closer 130psi btw just to help your sale, did the conversion 9.0kg/cm2 is 128psi

btw when you tell people about the engine its a good idea to tell them they should replace all the bearings and races as well as the shims

In the pic, that was at 283 rpm. Adjusted it was 120psi.

Thanks for the info. Motor needs a REBUILD, at the very least has a wobbling main pulley, bent e-shaft and according to Dave, needs to replace all the bearings, races and shims.

It's all good man no pressure. I'm just weighing my options. IRP seems to have offered me a good price on the short block but I wanted to see if I can do better. It seems simpler to just let IRP take care of everything and send in one of their cores even if it means giving up a few hundred. Keep in mind, if I was doing a rebuild, I'd refresh pretty much everything anyway on any motor so even if you find another motor I think you will be replacing the same stuff. Why crack it open only to reuse parts you know what I mean? The good thing with this motor is that you know you have excellent housings and I think excellent rotors and seals if I'm not mistaken. Maybe someone else can chime in on this. Also, in terms of carbon build up, it should be pretty minimal since I've been running it with the sohn adapter and water injection. Even if you pick up excellent condition housings, I don't think the compression will be at the same level. I believe new motors are around 130psi. The reason I'm not rebuilding is that turn around to swap in a new motor is shorter and plus... 130 psi hahaha.

No pics as of now. I just got the word over txt. Apparently the wheels are mint. This is what the seller says...

17x9 front, 9.5 rear

Pass rear sidewall is kinda messed up.
Nitto nt555 245/45 front 275/40 rear

Guestimating that the set has 10k on it but is mint.

I just saw the warrior. Did anyone else not like it?

As for how much, I have to think about it. IRP offered to take it for a good amount if alot of the parts are reusable. If someone else buys it I have to find a beat up core to send back to Ray and I'll have to lower the price a bit since although the compression is strong, the motor is still a mystery. I can also have IRP breakdown the motor and see what's what and part it out that way. I dunno. It's pretty complicated. What I can tell you is that it won't be dirt cheap. I have to make as much money off the motor as I can unfortunately. I'll keep you updated.
which car is this one from? the spirit r? whats the deal with the ls rx7 wheres that motor? if they open it id try selling it on the forum for the most $$ selling it to a shop they become a middle man an want to pay less... just my .02

S-R car yea. Yea I'll lose some money if I sell it to a shop but there is less to deal with. I dunno. Now I'm considering 20b N/A again and sending the car to defined.

I think you need something to fix the end play right?

Yea man it's a hard decision. I think I may stick with BNRs. If I can hit 400rwhp with my BNRs I'll call it a day. If I want more power I'll mod the LS2 I guess .

you need to shim the crankshaft to remove any endplay so the crank doesnt walk around and destroy the bearings, the thrust bearing cant always do it alone, mazda sells different thicknesses

and i rechecked the rotary, we dont use races they just ride on a film of oil, so i was wrong about that
