360 + LCD + 1080dp = better bud!

 

too bad neither can display at full 1080 resolution! ;]

 

....but al, i thought PS3 has better graphic card, and dont you think it will be able to reach that resolution?

sorry, yes the ps3 can display 1080p if it's asked too whereas the 360 can't.

the ps3 reformats itself once it detects an hdmi wire with a 1080p resolution..plus if the game is formated with 1080p, then guess what you get to see?

Are you guys crazy the 360 does play in -----1080p. Not every game, but the big dogs like forza 3 etc do. go to your system setting and check, and there is a adjustment to set it on 1080p. wow 6 years later and still miss info the 360 ftL.

now that i think of it if you rent a movie from Xbox live you can view it in 1080..... you just cant watch DVD's. but again its mostly because of the player

 

i just checked my settings and it seems like mine was set on 480 so i changed it on system settings to 1080 and there is a difference....

 

Depending on your TV. You can set it to 1080i or 1080p.

i = interlace picture. Horizontal lines display then vertical lines after.
P= Progressive scan. Both vert. and Hori. lines display simultaneously.

 

ha ps3 checks that **** automatically..ftw! lol joking, ps3 sucks ***, went to gamestop to look for a new game...there wasnt **** ...oh well ill just use it as a blueray player, dvd player, internet source when im to lazy to go to my room lol
