I saw this option today so i had to try it out. I goofed when i saved it through photshop so it look blotchy but its actually very clear. I like subway wayyyyy to much.

I was actually gonna go out to the queens meet, its just as far as NJ for me but i stayed in my apt to work on my project. I figured i would post and show you guys what i have been working on. Ashtray dual gauge pod. i don know ultimately how it will come out and now that i have gone through the process i think i can do better. I have done cf work before mostly overlays and one vacuum bagging. I tried to post the pod in the order that its been progressing in.

 

and 1 more...ill take a test fit picture in the am to see how it looks now with the new progress.... the only thing im really scared to do is paint it because thats when allllllllll the imperfections come out and im not sure when to stop sanding really because i keep spotting waves in the bondo.

 

aw man i don't know how i missed the posts about Thursday night i would have came out to the meet.

the weld on the left side of my clutch bracket came loose during a shift yesterday...

is this something that mazda would replace/repair or am i just better off rewelding it and reinforcing it?

its still driveable but the pedal moves atleast an inch from left to right and almost all feel is lost...ne one else have this happen to them

Hah Happened to me and Andrew both. Take it off and get it re welded for like $40. Do it before it snaps completely.

 

Landed in Tokyo today - in my first half day, saw 4 skylines and a sweet looking rotary shop with 10 FDs and a few FCs out front.

i was sitting in traffic yesterday to get on the 1&9 in jersey city and i saw bangkok drive pass in the 8..someone was out cruzing around...

rx8ya- whatd u initially make the mold out of before you bondo'd? what grit are you going up to before paint? i THINK 250-300 grit should be good enough, then primer and wedsand with 400 a few times.. after few coats try wet sanding with 800 grit... i think that shouldddddd be good enough, im no paint pro tho.. painting is VERY tricky....
