Hey guys my clutch went on my 8 monday morning. Lucky for me its covered. I don't know what the hell happened. I've been driving a manual for years and ths has never happened before. My 8 has 39,000 on it. I'm really starting to get fed up with it. This year my car has been in the shop more that its been on the road!!!!!!!

 

Details? Did it just wear out or did it blow up like mine? At least they covered yours, the dealer told me to go f**k myself.

 

That sucks. But like you said, at least it's under warranty.

 

Cnnhn how many miles you had on your when it went? I heard a pop and then drove on it for 2 weeks until i could not start it monday morning. Yup still under 'warranty'. They gave me a Camary Gundarx. It feels just like an Accord. So I'm pushing that until my 8 is ready tomorrow during the snow storm, lol. That figures I get it back then. I'm taking advantage of the good gas mileage for now.

 

I had about 45k miles (on a 60k warranty), this was 2 months after I bought it. Mazda of Lodi for the LOSE!

 

mazda of lodi has terrible service....they damaged my car while it was there and had to repaint it to the tune of over $700

I take it to Wayne mazda they are the best around NJ.
anyway sucks ti hear that but atleast its covered.

I took my car to Wayne mazda for a compression test since I was getting stalling and the warranty was about to expire. I got 8's at 320RPM which is fail as per the FSM but the service manager wouldn't listen to me.

I remain unimpressed with Mazda dealers in general.

I've been to Samsone in Woodbride and they are good. Maxon in Union service sucks there!!!! My car is at Crystals Mazda in Greenbrook on RT 22. Its ok, they have a small service department. I didn't even see any 8's on sell, only in the shop LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

sansone?.....your joking right?......there is no rotary mechanics there..i bought my car at that hack house and they hate warantee work.....

 

So where would I go around here to get a new engine?

 

youre probably better off getting it from someone on the board and just installing it yourself . and since we are talking about **** dealers stay very far away from manfredi on staten island

 

Heh.. If Mazda gave me the money they would charge to install on of their crap remans, I would get a quality rebuild from someone on this board and install it myself.. Then again, I doubt they would go for that unless I took em to court
