Reducing anymore weight in an FD is mainly for that pure power to weight ratio, or in simpler terms, getting the car as light as possible so you dont have the modify the car so much.

Well of course. I'm driving a hand me down 2 1/2 ton SUV. Can't complain though. It gets me from point A to point B comfortably.
