YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ----CRAZYNESS---- I drove a million miles per hour home dodging trees, getting blown to the side be the wind. The cross bronx had so much debris it covered the air like fog. I'm affraid to see my MS front in the morning.

I'm alive... and wet feet aren't a big deal...

Jeff & Chris, sorry again we didn't stop! I was paying too much attn to the puddle and didn't see you guys. I'm glad you're outta there okay.

Glad everyone is home safe.

P.S. You guys missed a really cool (read: scary) lightning show! Cliff and I stayed behind at Panera since we live semi-far away from the meet and semi-near each other. I've never seen any lightning like that!

Glad to hear everyone got out safe. My car had fun this morning as it was bogging like hell with water in the intake. I think I cleaned it out though. Chris, what is that last picture of? Stupid power went out last night.

yes it is true the Lake of 17 took out 3 8 owners...sighs

I was doing less than 10 mph behind an FJ crusier the LAKE was a lil diceptive though didnt look that deep but I got behind the truck anyway so he could barrel us through it.

Next thing I knew the water level was up to my hood all I kept thinking about was my motoring going to the ***** or an electrical short. Finally got through the Lake of 17 and I see smoke coming from my front end Im thinking **** either the oil coolers or the radiator went to *****...I pull over only to see a fraction of my front lip still attached the the bracing from the hide away license plate. So in the rain while it thundering and lightening cars swirving while I was working on the car - NOT FUN. So I called Chris incase I got ran over at least someone would've known.

My oem bumper obtained some damaged which Im pissed cause at least I couldve stayed on it for a while - no wmy front end looks like crap....8o(

No Longer the BURNOUT of the EAST....sighs....

Glad to hear you guys made it out ok.

I was contemplating on going last night. Took my car to the local store at around 7:45 to get some food, then i saw an orange cloud and i was like forget it lol

I heard about the big storm that was coming last night so i put 2 and 2 together. At around 9:00, then the craziness hit.

Thank god i didnt go.

Hey kim sorry you got water in your 8 you have to be careful...make sure to do your very best to dry it out if not smell will build up and you may have to worry about the carpeting and seats rotting which if they do you can upgrade to leather... We saw you guys driving past well Chris did I was preoccupied looking for floating fiberglass that couldve been my front lip. Just as long as everyone got home safe thats all that matter....

geez, so sorry Jeff. If you need any help let me know...

If anything like this ever happens again, you are all welcome to crash/chill at my place which is 5 minutes away from the meet. Its small but it will give you a place to stay until **** dies down. Its also at the top of a hill so no worries about flooding.

I would be happy to help out with their cars. For anyone that needs mechanical or labor repairs I would be happy to do this at no charge.

Meeting up tonight is cool with me.

The BBQ is the 22nd.
