AT to MT..need a tranny shop.
hey so im converting my 6at to a 6mt
i have all the necessary parts
as of now im looking to install the clutch assembly with the oil coolers and cylinders and what not myself
i just need to know if anyone on long island knows a good transmission shop that would swap the trannies for cheap and do a good job.

I just completed this conversion on our car. Lots of little things change that we didn't think about like the brake booster, brake lines, and even the fuel lines. that entire ABS system is set up differently and all the lines come in with different bends in them. (We did the swap from a donor car and I don't think these other changes were related to the year but I may be wrong) We thought about the obvious stuff like the pedal assembly, dash, and computer, but didn't realize those little details...
